National Fire Sprinkler Association Hosts Annual Seminar in Bahamas

Unveils New Logo and Showcases Advances in the "Fire Sprinkler Concept"

Patterson, NY (Issues Wire / PRWEB) June 26, 2008 -- The National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA), the longest-tenured fire sprinkler advocacy organization in the U.S., held its 2008 Annual Seminar in Paradise Island, Bahamas, on May 14-17. The event, held at the Atlantis resort, was the platform for a variety of workshops and speakers as well as the unveiling of NFSA's new logo.

With more than 550 of the industry's top fire sprinkler professionals in attendance, NFSA unveiled its new logo, declaring NFSA "the voice of the fire sprinkler industry." The new logo represents the many advancements that have been made within the industry due to NFSA's perseverance and dedication to the fire sprinkler concept.

"With these advancements comes change and the need to position NFSA as the leader that the association truly is," said NFSA Chairman Gregg Huennekens. "NFSA remains committed to advancing the industry as we move forward with this new logo that incorporates our core message and speaks to our dedication."

In addition, the 2008 NFSA Annual Seminar covered many aspects of the fire sprinkler industry. Two days of intensive workshops and informative general speaker sessions were held, including addresses about the state of the industry and the economy and an update on the Common Voices Coalition advocacy group. Informal networking opportunities and management team programs for designers, engineers and top executives were also held.

With an elaborate welcome reception, a competitive volleyball tournament and a beach party, the Annual Seminar was host to a variety of ways to network sprinkler-related businesses.

"NFSA continues to be an industry leader providing our members with the most up-to-date information and training opportunities," said NFSA President John Viniello. "Our annual seminars continue to provide fire sprinkler professionals with a range of programming aimed at the technician on up to the CEO. Together as an association we are more motivated and more dedicated to spreading the fire sprinkler concept, declaring that fire sprinklers save lives and property. "
