Miami Beach New Mayor Matti Herrera Bower Proclaims Residents' Voices Will Be Heard

New Miami Beach Mayor wants community involvement

(Issues Wire / PRWEB) January 17, 2008 -- After eight years as a City of Miami Beach Commissioner Matti Herrera Bower was sworn in as Mayor on Wednesday November 21st, 2007.

Mayor Bower begins Miami Beach mayoral term and the New Year with priorities focused on the needs and initiatives of the residents.

Matti Herrera Bower was chosen Tuesday November 20th, 2007 at a run-off election by a commanding 54 percent popular vote to her opponent's 46 percent.
