Axacore Releases FaxAgent FaxBridge

FaxBridge solves the fax server issue of handling paper originated faxes and addresses compliance issues with fax.

San Diego, CA (Issues Wire / PRWEB) March 4, 2008 -- Axacore, a worldwide provider of imaging and fax solutions, today announced the release of the FaxAgent FaxBridge. The Fax Bridge simplifies the transmission of paper originated faxes with a fax server by allowing users to send the fax from a traditional fax machine. "With a traditional fax server solution, the user must scan the paper document, transfer the scanned document to their computer and then send the fax. With FaxBridge the user does what is familiar, walk up to the fax machine, enter the phone number and press send," said Dan Stern, Axacore's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The FaxBridge works in conjunction with Axacore's FaxAgent to provide a robust enterprise fax solution.

FaxAgent and FaxBridge work together to solve fax transmission issues introduced by VoIP phone systems. In addition, the FaxBridge addresses Sarbanes-Oxley fax compliance issues by maintaining a secure archive of sent faxes.

FaxBridge is entirely self-contained and configures itself when plugged into the network to ensure easy set-up in the field. FaxBridge securely connects to FaxAgent to permit use in remote offices. Elimination of analog fax lines and consolidation of management allows corporations to greatly reduce fax expenses.

Carriers and Service Providers can use the FaxBridge with Axacore's Service Provider FaxAgent to offer simple fax solutions to their customers. The FaxBridge communication protocol eliminates the heavy bandwidth requirements of T.38 and provides reliable fax transmission as opposed to Analog Telphone Adapter (ATA) solutions.
