VisaAmigo.com Publishes Free Fiancé Visa Guide

VisaAmigo.com, a new website which offers a variety of information about U.S. immigration law, announced today the launch of its new fiancé visa guide.

Jackson, Michigan (Issues Wire / Vocus) February 12, 2008 -- VisaAmigo.com, a new website which offers a variety of information about U.S. immigration law, announced today the launch of its new fiancé visa guide. The guide is available to anyone free of charge at VisaAmigo.com.

“This site is something we’ve been thinking about doing for a long time and we felt that there really was not much out there that offered comprehensive information about U.S. immigration law system,” said Philip C. Curtis, immigration attorney and co-owner of E-Commerce Enterprises, LLC the company which operates the site. VisaAmigo.com is an informational website that focuses on family-based immigration issues. The site features numerous articles on immigration law topics, user forums, and free guides which provide step-by-step instructions for various immigration processes.

…and I don’t think we do a good job of that now.
“The site is still under construction but there is a lot of good content that immigrants, prospective immigrants, and their families can benefit from so we decided to make that available now,” said Curtis. VisaAmigo.com plans to finish development of the site and add new features including, additional free guides, pod casts of question & answer sessions hosted by immigration law attorneys, and an expanded user forum before summer 2008. The recently release fiancé visa guide provides comprehensive information about the K1 fiancé visa process.

“There has been a lot of debate in this country in the last year or so about what the immigration law should be and that’s a good discussion but its critical that we de-code our current system so immigrants or intending immigrants can understand the rules,” Curtis explained, “…and I don’t think we do a good job of that now.”

Formerly known as the Immigration & Naturalization Service (INS), the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) is the government agency responsible for the implementation and enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws. “I think the USCIS has made some significant improvements in terms of the information that is available on their website, but I think that everyone would benefit from a system that was more user-friendly.” Curtis hopes that his company’s new site will offer some valuable information that is not available elsewhere.
